Finalist in New York's 3rd Ward Summer Open Call 2010

My work was recently selected in the Top 25 Artists for 3rd Ward's Summer Open Call, 2010.

3rd Ward is an art and design centre located in Brooklyn, New York City. Each season 3rd Ward hold an international open call for a residency in New York. The Top 25 Artists selected by the panel of judges will be featured in 3rd Ward's Quarterly Magazine.

Montalto Sculpture Prize 2010

Lifeless IV as installed at Montalto Sculpture Prize

Kristin McIver's Lifeless IV was recently selected as a finalist in the Montalto Sculpture Prize 2010. Lifeless IV is a neon and steel artwork investigating desire, aspiration and consumerism.

The work will be exhibited as part of the Montalto Sculpture Prize Exhibition at at Montalto Vineyard & Olive Grove in Red Hill.
